Dear Phillip and Dorothy,

How ya doing dudes, that is dude and dudett. I've been meaning to write to
you every since I was down there to thank you for the great time. It was
great to see you both. I had a great time doing all the beach and ocean things.
I really like your house and yard. The hot tub was great. This card reminded
me of your hot tub. If you want to put mud in yours let me know and I will
send you some. We have lots of mud (no grass).

We haven't done hardly anything this summer. Our new house is great. It is
starting to feel like home. It keeps us busy. We have most of the fence in
and the lawn is ready to put in the sprinkler system and grass. We built a
deck which was fun, but took a lot more time than I had expected ( We got
carried away with little features).

Robins surgery went very well. She was pretty sore for a couple of days, but
she came out of it ok. I stayed at the hospital the first two nights and
didn't make it home for about 3 days. I was the busyest that I've ever been
at work. Dad and Grandma came down to help out with the boys, for a couple of
days which was great. I didn't get to see them hardly at all though.

Work has cooled off somewhat. I'm not in the hot seat any more. For about
three week there were about 20 people waiting for me to get my board to work
(for more than a few minutes). When I started working on the problem I
thought it would only take a couple of days at the most. At least it
turned out that it wasn't my designs that caused the major problems.

We're going to Montana Saturday for a week. We don't really have time to
but I think we need the break. Marcy's sister Kathy is having both of her
kids baptized, and we haven't seen the baby (that's out main reason for
going). Matt has been up there for almost three weeks. He seems to be
having a great time. Brandon has missed him a lot and can't wait to see
him. A lot of times when we get in the car he will ask if we are going to
go get Matt now. We are all excited to see him.

I better get to working before I get fired for using company time and
equipment to write this letter (just kidding). Thanks again for taking
such good care of me. I hope it's not too long before we see you again.
Are you going to go back for Christmas? I hope that next summer we can
pull of a trip to California for a couple of weeks.

Love,

PS. thanks a lot for sending Robin the flowers while she was in the Hospital.
It was a time when she really needed support.
