I set up a script on the system to blow EPROM,s for Firefox. We are now
able to run out of EPROM.

I have been working on turning on the Indigo CA. It may have a problem that
is slot dependent. Everything seems to work when it is in slot 6 of
Firefox 3. There is a different problem that it has in Firefox 1. It
did not work in slot 7 of Firefox 3. This could be due to an interconnect
problem.

I have talked to PC layout about getting the Math board connectors on grid.
They tell me that it can't be done. I am still working on this.

The film has been shipped for the 8 Mbyte board.

I had 2 more 2 Mbyte RAM board built. There were some small problems (a few
backwards parts and wrong parts). These have been worked out.

MC-F has a small problem that has to do with getting errors. The fix will
mean that the SPA will be cleared when a double bit or parity error occurs.
This will make it very difficult to recover from these errors. We did not
plan to recover from these error anyway. If nothing was done it would have
made it possible to send bad data without reporting an error.

I talked to MTC about a problem Hitachi is having with meeting the 1 Mbit
RAM spec. It is the nibble mode access time. We do not have problem with
there spec but some other projects do. The problem we have is that they are
one of the 2 current sources for the SOJ package. MTC thinks that they will
be able to fix the problem and will still be able to be qualified.

I received 10 samples of Toshiba SRAM's to check out. I have ordered 400
parts and want to check these out before they are shipped so that we can
order parts from Cypress if the Toshiba parts do not work.

I gave Tom Meyer my new power estimates for the Math board. It changed from
2.1 to 1.4 Amps.

I have decided to attend the non-product issues meeting in California to give
a presentation on surface mount.
