They have decided to stay with the 168 pin PGA for the CA chip. There will
be a few pin out changes. They will get me these by the end of this week.

It seems that no one wants to take the responsibility for characterizing the
math bus. It is not clear what needs to be done and who should do it. There
is a meeting this week to try to iron things out.

I met with Lattice last week. They plan to have qualifiable 2K x 8 25ns
SRAM's by November. They say that they will have an 8K x 8 25ns part in
about a year.

I have everything together for the build of 8 more math boards except for
tested CA chips. I just got 12 untested parts today.

Hitachi is no offering a 25ns 2K x 8 part. they will try to get me 30 samples
next month and plan to be ready to qualify in October or November.

The real time clock works with UNIX. We have not put in the calibration
constants yet and so it is not very accurate.
