The Math board has been red lined and is now being digitized. We should be
able to run the check program this week. I turned on the wirewrap version
of the PDH and found three small problems. One will cause a small change on
the PC board. (Digitize is not done and so this should not be a problem.)
The other two require a change to a pal equation and a resistor value.

The resistor pack for the SRAM arrays has been lost. They are getting more as
soon as possible. We can use surface mount resistors if they do not get here
in time.

I asked the SRAM vendors about the spec change to prevent the bus contention.
Hitachi already had this in there spec. Toshiba and Mitsubeshi do not think
that there will be a problem, but I sent them a letter explaining the change.
I also sent Jim Couts of the MTC a memo explaining the change to insure that
it is put in the HP spec.

Hitachi is having some problems with there 16k x 4 25 ns SRAM's. It will be
a few months before the can deliver parts. They do have 30 ns parts. I am
not sure what Cheetahs plans and needs are for SRAM's, but I get the feeling
that they are not working very closely with the SRAM vendors.

The 8 Mbyte board went to PC layout on Wednesday but it has not been started
yet. There could be some problems with getting AS243's in time to build the
board. I am working on this problem.
