We got both our systems running again. It was a problem with the CPU boards.

I turned on the new math board and everything seems to work. The MIU turned
right on. I have run UNIX with the new math board with a VLSI CA. We have
not had both the CA and MIU run at the same time. We should try that this
week. They are going to build 8 boards today.

I am still having trouble getting CA's to run reliably. Small changes in the
delay line seem to make them fail. The one that seems to work the best did
not work when the board was on an extender. I will call the CA designers to
see if they have any ideas on making them more stable.

I could not get the DRC to run on the new 8M RAM tapes. I had them plot film
to see if the film looks ok.

There was a small problem found with the MC-F. There is a bit that is supposed
to be a one in IODC that is a zero. This is something that changed after
the MC-F was defined. This change slipped by us. We are going to try to get
the memory architecture changed back to not requiring this bit to be one.
