We can now get the CA chips to run reliably. They seem to work well when
we set VDL to 3.4 volts. We are putting a voltage regulator on the math
boards. All 7 CA chips turned on.

The math boards have been turning on very nicely. I have had no problems.
There are a fair number of kluges to make the CA chip work.

I spent about a day getting the math board to work in one of Tony Gaddis's
machines. It turned out to be a connector problem on the mother board.

I finally got the DRC to run on the 8M RAM board. The mixed up the files
that they sent me. There were no problems. We should get boards in about
two weeks.

I found out that Hitachi may be able to provide a 2K x 8 25ns SRAM. They
gave Jim Couts (MTC) a 2K x 9 part that looks good. They are going to see
if they can bond the part so that we could use it.
