I set up a video conference with Dave James and other people interested in
the memory architecture. The MC-F guys agreed to change a bit in IODC.
They also said that a bit in the control register could be moved. These
changes could have an effect on our self test software. If we are careful
they will be minimal.

IDT called and said that they are giving MTC some samples of real 25ns
2K x 8 SRAM's. I have asked if I could get 30 samples to load a board.
They are going to meet with HP in Cupertino on Wednesday to talk about
the 2K x 8 part and other future parts. I will see if I can find someone
from IHO to go.

I tried to run a Firefox at 30MHz with new 1A MC-F's. It passed the self
test and executed ISL, but it died when it tried to down load unix. I
never tried to figure out what was failing. I want to get real 25 ns
SRAM's before I put too much effort into seeing how fast we can go.

I updated the RAM IRS. (The document used to design MC-F) I had not updated
it for over a year and a half.

I started and am most the way done with the memory theory of operation.
This should help Jim come up to speed faster on the RAM board.
