The Math board seemed to fall through a crack at LID and it did not go
into the shop until last week. They are treating it as a very high
priority board and said that I should get boards by next Monday.

The kluge for the MC-F parity problem had to be changed to pull ups
because the CA drives out some ones in the dead state. We now have
about 10 kluge boards. We need one per machine.

The MC-F is working with UNIX. There were some software problems that are
now fixed.

We have been turning on the CA chip. We have started to have problems with
the parallel cards that do not seem to be related the the CA chip. It
could be a power or a cooling problem.

As of last week I had 7 2 Mbyte memory boards turned on. I have 5 with
problems. They pass all the tests but do not run RDB.

I have been working with Jim to bring him up to speed on the memory boards.

I spent a little time looking at a oscillation on the MID_BUS. It may be
related to the AS245's on the math board. I am treating this as a low
priority.

I expect to get a set of Math chips by next week.

We built an 8 Mbyte board and had a lot of problems. I think that we can
fix it. We built second board and it seem better. I have gone back into
PC layout to change the footprint and to fix my other problems.

Sorry this is so late.
