We got the VLSI CA turned on and it ran unix. We had assumed that the extra
address line on the CIO bus could be tied high (I specificly asked). It has
to be connected or unix will find cards twice and get confused. It may
be a software bug in that it looks at locations that are not supported.
There were some other small problems found also.

We continue to have problems with the parallel card. We do not have a working
Firefox right now. I am working with Rand to try to find what the problem is.

I got Math boards and plan on turning one on today.

I still need to do the final check of the 8 Mbyte RAM board. I plan to do this
today also. I have the tapes.

Toshiba has slipped out to September for samples of real 25 ns 2K x 8 SRAM's.
Their latest cost estimate for June 1987 in $6.00.

Cypress has said that they are still on schedule to give us samples in July.
Rich Parker will be here Thursday to give a complete update.

I did make some to sit down with Jeff for a while to discuss the RAM board.
