I have resolved all the issues on the Math board. I have the schematic,
materials lists, and parts placement all updated. The changes have been
made. It should be digitized today. Dave Young told me that I can use a
60 mil solder mask keep-out on the 52 mil pads. This gives me plenty of
coverage.

I finished the math ers.

I talked to jack Frost about floating point need for workstations. He is
working on the high performance floating point for the series 300.He sees
it important to have very high performance floating point as an option.
He expects to sell about 10% of the Bobcat 32 systems with floating point.
Having high performance floating point available is becoming a lock out spec.
If the trend continues as it is, ultra-fox will need about 10 are 15 MFLOPS
as a $5K to $10K selling price option.

I spent a little time looking into the feasibility of putting 16K x 4 surface
mount SRAM's on the CPU board. I think that we could do this without moving
the VLSI chips. I assume that we could hook it up. I think that the biggest
risk would be getting the parts.

I helped Jim and Jeff get up to speed on placing parts with EGS to do design
rule checking on the memory boards.

I prepared for and attended staff.
