I did some more testing and modeling with the SRMA outputs. I have a good
idea of what causes them to act like they do. I have started to document
what I have done and the conclusions. I will probably have to run a few
more simulations and test to verify my conclusions, but for the most part
I am done testing. As we get more parts and spice models I will want
to verify that my assumptions are still correct.

I measured the step current on the SRAM. We are using 50% of the total
power. The measured step was between 20% and 30%. If chip enable could
be disabled for long period of time we would get a step of 100%, but this
cannot happen.

I talked to several people to make sure that I understood how the cache dump
would work during power fail so that I could verify that the 30 msec. hold
up time would work. I documented my assumptions and distributed them to
the people who could verify them.

I looked at parts placement some more to see if I could come up with a
placement that would be better thermally. There is a change that seems
like it would work better. We will decide in the next week or so if we want
to make this change.

I visited Andy Vogen and Wes Melander of CSMC to talk about our surface mount
concerns. I got a lot of good information. I wrote up some notes about the
meeting and sent them to the the people that would be concerned.

I started looking at how to do the Gumby? schematics again and suggested
how we should get them done.
