I finished up the memo on 32Kx8 SRAM pinouts and sent it to Mark Forsyth.

I spent some time talking to Richard Chou about cross talk and the effect
of ground bounce doubling. He had not looked at this much. He is going
to run some simulations to make sure that it is not a problem. This could
add to the bus delay because the victim line may take longer to settle.
We have to be careful about being to conservative because this may only be
true in the fast case.

I have been comparing the theoretical estimates of the cross talk with
the measured cross talk on the cross talk test board. Most of the results
look reasonable. There is one result that does not match well. I still
need to figure out why. The test board has less cross talk than the models
say it should.

I met with some of the VLSI designers and sent them a memo telling them what
to use for SRAM output wave forms. I also called Jim Couts and asked him to
give me feedback on these assumptions. I hope to start working on the models
this week.

I met with Bob Myer and some people from Sola to talk about our UPS needs.
I do not think that we will have problems getting an UPS that works well in
our system.

I spent a little time talking to Rand about the Silverfox RTC battery problem.
