This redbook was written for users who require information about the DB2
World Wide Web Connection product. It will provide information needed to
install and configure the DB2 World Wide Web Connection as well as the IBM
Internet Connection Server for OS/2.
In addition to this printed document a sample application is also provided.
This application will be used in the book to explain how the HTML documents
have to be created, as well as describing the functions available using the
DB2 World Wide Web Connection product's macros. The use and functionallity
of Common Gateway Interface (CGI) programs will also be demonstrated by this
sample application.
Some knowledge of the TCP/IP networking protocol is assumed in order to setup
the Internet server. The user of this redbook should also have sufficient
knowledge of the DB2 common server Version 2.1 database product.
