The material included in this publication includes information about DataPropagator from IBM, DataMirror/400 from DataMirror, MIT/400 from SAMAC, Visual Warehouse from IBM, AMIS from Olympic amis, Rodin from Coglin Mill, InfoManager from InfoManager, and ShowCase STRATEGY from ShowCase. Data warehousing implementation is discussed and examples are shown to illustrate how you might use one or more of the preceding products to build a data warehouse in an AS/400 environment. This redbook was written for people who are charged with the task of recommending and implementing a data warehouse solution. Several practical examples are presented to demonstrate data warehousing on the AS/400 system. The practical examples are based on eight actual products using a large sample database that was provided by a large brewery in the Netherlands.
